Ambient food distribution

Most of our customers don’t ship ambient alone. They ship it alongside chilled and frozen lines, and the question is whether one carrier can handle all three without splitting the supply chain across providers. We can: ambient product travels on the same network as our temperature-controlled work, with ambient storage at all four depots.

Honest positioning

If your entire operation is ambient grocery and nothing else, a general haulier may be cheaper. Where we earn our keep is mixed work: the manufacturer whose range spans frozen ready meals and ambient sauces, the wholesaler whose customers order across all three bands, the redistribution charity handling whatever surplus arrives that week. One carrier, one booking, one point of accountability when something changes.

Storage that matches

Ambient storage sits in the same buildings as our chilled and frozen space, at Leeds, both Luton sites and Taunton. Stock can be held ambient and despatched with refrigerated lines on the same vehicle, using dual-zone equipment where the bands need separating in transit.

The same paperwork

Ambient loads get electronic proof of delivery as standard, the same as our chilled and frozen work.
