The brains behind the idea! A massive shoutout to our driver Ziggy, whose suggestion started this whole project. He spotted something similar whilst out delivering himself and thought we could also hugely benefit from a delivery sign ourselves. Our drivers are always finding ways to help us improve our service and we always listen! These will be rolled out soon into our driver packs.

We used to name our vehicles after Inuit gods. Every new addition to the fleet was special, and that's how we talked about them, by name, never by fleet number. The bigger you get, the easier it is for everything to feel like a number, so as the new fleet arrives, the names are coming back because they make a difference. Back to our roots, starting where it began: Ukat.

Over twenty years running Igloo, and it still fires me up every day. The vision hasn't moved since day one: best service in the cold chain, and total control of it. Do we get it right every time? No. Everyone makes mistakes, anyone who says otherwise is selling something. We own it, we fix it, we push on. One case, multiple pallets, full loads. Chilled or frozen. Igloo pulls it all the way. We've got the best logistics team in the game, and in the second half of 2026 we're supercharging it. Better tech. Better systems. A better offering for our clients. Watch this space...

Today, we are delighted to recognise and celebrate the achievements of Billy Gethin, our Luton Warehouse Manager, and Michael Wilcox, our Luton Artic Driver, who have both reached an incredible 5 years of service with Igloo Thermo Logistics. To mark this important milestone, our CEO, Alistair Turner, was proud to personally present Billy and Michael with their Long Service Awards, recognising their loyalty, contribution, and continued commitment to the business. Congratulations Billy and Michael!

Our drivers are often away from their vehicle for a short time while completing deliveries. Rather than leaving customers (or worse the traffic wardens) wondering where the driver has gone, we thought we might try a sign letting people know a delivery is in progress and that the driver will be back shortly. I've come up with two designs so far: "Brrr-B, Be Right Back" and "Be Back in 20 Minutes!" Which one do you prefer?

"I didn't realise you were BRC AA." Our storage is graded BRC AA, the top tier for traceability and hygiene, and we're a founding member of DVSA Earned Recognition, which around 140 operators in the country hold. None of that is exciting. It's audits, paperwork and standards you have to keep proving you meet. It's also why deliveries land on time and stock passes its checks.

"I didn't realise you covered the whole country." We hear that a lot from people who had us pegged as a regional operator. Four depots, next-day delivery nationwide, and it runs on our own vehicles and our own drivers. That ownership shows up in the numbers: when it's your fleet, you control the standard the whole way.
